Kingstate’s acoustic products lines include speaker/receiver, ECMs, buzzers and earphones. Its factories are ISO9001, ISO9002, ISO14001, QS9000, TS16949 and TL9000 certified, and equipped with automated production machines for welding and dispensing. It has developed some of its production machinery based on in-house designs.

 

Kingstate’s factories are set up with anechoic rooms, programmable temperature and humidity chambers, and thermal shock test chambers. There are audio analyzers including the B&K2012, impedance/gain-phase analyzers, and signal/dynamic signal analyzers.

 

Kingstate emphasizes features such as mechanical design accuracy, high power, audio quality and sound effects like stereo sound.

 

Kingstate also runs a material engineering department that makes high-efficiency plastic material for diaphragms.

Its micro speaker applied to mobile phones emphasize performance, especially when micro speaker are designed with low distortion, high power(0.8W to 1W), at high frequency. To match the shapes of current mobile phones, micro speakers used for mobile phones have been designed in an ellipse shape with a height of 3mm to 4mm or less.

 

In general, Kingstate offers micro speakers with diameters ranging from 8mm to 20mm and can be produced in SMD type as well. The supplier also develops models with pins. Customized micro speakers with cables, connectors and housings are also available.

 

Kingstate’s exports about 55 percent of its output, distributed among Japan, Europe and the United State, 25 to 30 percent of annual sales coming from speakers. In 2006, annual sales of all products totaled $29 million.

 

Kingstate offers both OEM and ODM services, but 90 percent of the revenue is ODM-based. Lead times is between four and six weeks.
